I grew up in Pocatello, Idaho, the only girl out of four. (That's why I'm so tough!) I started running in the seventh grade in grudging obedience to a track coach. My dad accompanied me, and we started out with one lap of the track. After a week, we bumped it up to two, then three, and so on. By the end of the summer we were running six miles a day. Since then, my dad and I have been completely hooked on distance running, and we can't go back.
I am currently in my senior year at Utah State University. I love public speaking, hiking and rock climbing with my husband and friends, visiting new places, and of course, RUNNING! I’m a 4’10” ball of energy, and I can’t wait to join the RODS team!
