As I turn 40 this year, I wanted to do something that would not only challenge myself in a positive way, but would also help make a positive change in another’s life. Inspired by the memory of my dad and his love of running, I will be running my first half marathon in January with friends for a charity that’s touched my heart – Team RODS (Racing for Orphans with Down syndrome). RODS mission is to help raise awareness and funds to unite orphans with Down syndrome with adoptive families. Every child deserves a loving family. My 3 children are the greatest gift in my life and this is the least I can do help one in need. Please be part of my journey in reaching my goal to help RODS. My goal is to raise at least $700 for Logan (current orphan) and other orphans awaiting their forever home.

Logan is outgoing and knows what he wants and isn’t afraid to let you know! He has a ready smile and loves to cuddle with his caretakers. He loves eating his favorite foods, especially desserts. He likes interacting with the other children, swinging, and playing with balls. Logan has been diagnosed with Down syndrome. He is a very engaging and loving child who would do well with the loving care of a forever family!
