Tyler's first experience with Triathlons came in 2011 when his brother talked him into doing the Tahoe City Xterra, a relatively short track with a brutally cold swim. Having survived that race, he continued with several sprint distance events over the next few years. In 2014, peer pressure (Brady Murray) got the best of him again and he decided to do the Boise Ironman 70.3. Being able to represent a great cause like RODS Racing at that event was a great feeling, one that he'd definitely like to experience again.
